This interview with the famous concept artist and ‘visual futurist’ Syd Mead was originally a tie-in to Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium, which Mead had a hand or two in designing. I also got him to talk me through his contributions to Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Tron, Blade Runner, 2010, Aliens, Timecop, Strange Days, Johnny Mnemonic and Mission: Impossible III.
