I have a slight reputation at Empire for being able to find people, so for this set of features on Paul Verhoeven’s “trilogy” (RoboCop, Total Recall and Starship Troopers) they asked me to track down Steve “Doc” Nemeth: RoboCop‘s “I’d buy that for a dollar” guy, AKA Bixby Snyder. So I did that. I also interviewed Clancy Brown (Starship Troopers – I’d spoken to him before so he was easy) and Lycia Naff (the three-breasted hooker from Total Recall).
