A piece for The Guardian about the excellent 20th Century Flicks: a long-established independent video shop in my home town of Bristol, going through some exciting changes. It made the Editor’s Picks on the front page of the Guardian website, and within a day of publication had already made more than £4000 difference to Flicks’ crowd-funding campaign, which was heartening. I also accidentally named-and-shamed Simon Pegg into paying an outstanding fine.
