This was part of a broader spread of features to mark the release of J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek Into Darkness. It also marks another entry in my Expanded Universe series about tie-in and spin-off novels and novelisations. I had to deal with Trek a bit differently to the previous instalments, since I couldn’t possibly have covered every Star Trek novel that’s ever been published. I ended up whittling the focus down to print-only Trek sub-series.
