Various retrospective 2014 features and lists went up daily on the Empire website during December. The following are the ones I either wrote outright or contributed to significantly. Pictured is Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive, which was not Empire‘s number one film of the year, but was definitely mine. The soundtrack’s fantastic too.
