This one grew in the telling: it was originally only conceived as a list of ten or so ridiculous straight-to-video sequels, but eventually ended up covering forty. We’re going to add another twenty at a later date. The image above is from s.Darko, the belated follow-up to Donnie Darko. Others on the list include American Psycho 2, 8mm 2 and Bambi 2.

Incidentally, I dislike the title that was used for this: “sequels you didn’t know existed”. Several forumites resented that assumption, and I don’t think it’s an invalid criticism. I recently read a magazine that had a section on “the best films you’ve never seen” and that particular month’s entry was The Wages of Fear. Don’t fucking accuse me of not having seen The Wages of Fear.
