Slightly strangely, this was a commissioned feature for Empire about another magazine: the horror bible Fangoria. Fango haven’t reciprocated with an article about Empire as yet. It fell together really quickly, to the extent that I even happened to be in New York on another job during the planning period, so I was able to stop by the Fango offices and speak to the current team in person. I wish it was always that easy. The feature was published in the April 2013 issue of Empire, but once it was off the shelves, Fango asked our permission to run it on their website in scanned form.
